I’m having a real crisis of faith at the moment, which has been reinforced with the recent earthquake in Chile. It seems there’s a disaster every week. I should highlight straight up, that this (latest) crisis of faith isn’t about the validity of psychic gifts, rather the purpose of their existence.
I’ve mentioned the global forum I’m part of – for your reference, the website is www.psychic-forum.com. It’s for practicing psychics, mediums and healers; along with people who are looking to develop their skills in this area. I highly recommend it to anyone looking to further their knowledge about this.
So anyway, I posted a comment about my crisis of faith on this forum. I couldn’t understand why, when there is a collective of people with exceptional talents, gifts and skills; connection to the spiritual side of life; and at the very least, the best intentions; that we couldn’t all work together to fix the world. Before it falls apart even more. I’ve heard about Intention Experiments and such, but I’m not sure if there’s evidence as to whether they are effective or not.
The responses from other forum members were as I expected, really – focused on seeing the positive aspects of life; that there are things in life we cannot control (particularly related to nature); and that supporting individuals is just as important.
Working in the community sector, of course I appreciate the value of supporting people at a local level. But sometimes I wonder, is this enough? But why does this amazing gift exist, if we can’t band together and heal the world?
